These days photographers have to capture a newsworthy person with a variety of expressions, from a big broad smile (landing a big film role, having a number 1 hit) to a look of abject misery (facing child abuse allegations, being caught trying to offload speeding points). We used to see loads of pix of Jimmy Savile: gurning, grabbing girls and giving the thumbs-up. But now every paper uses one of just two pix: the psycho one and the paedo one...
