Following events in South Africa yesterday, firearms enthusiasts and NRA experts are in the midst of a fierce debate about the use of so many bullets simply to kill one blonde and the question on everyone's mind is just how many bullets are appropriate when terminating a single lippy girlfriend.
Many experts say that discharging as many as 6 shots, with 4 hitting home in the head and hand is messy, unnecessary and amateurish. One expert asked, "What's the hand shot all about? Surely 3 in the head was overkill by itself."
Others argue that the recent tweets sent out by Reeva Steenkamp prior to her death are a significant factor in this. Apparently, just before her death, she tweeted, "What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow??? It should be a day of love for everyone."
Not long before that, she had tweeted, "It's a beautiful day! Make things happen. Starting my day off with a yummy healthy shake from my boo :) "
Under the circumstances, some experts believe that 4 bullets was the absolute minimum justified, with one adding, "Personally, I would have used a whole magazine."
