My own view: if someone acts like a cnut they deserve to be lacerated by the media. And in an age of equality they should not be exempted from this just because of a disability.

offlineMemberI think we're missing an important issue here: if he shot his girlfriend four times, was he in the standing, prone or kneeling position?
This could have a real affect on Paralympic shooting events. Do blades offer a significant advantage in absorbing recoil? Firing a gun from an unbraked wheelchair could put a would-be small-bore rifle competitor at measurable disadvantage.

So just how much time did he have in which to 'panic' over an intruder?
Enough time to put on his limbs, or did he just duck, roll, and shoot?

offlineMemberI doubt he'd have duck roll for breakfast. It's more of a fancy treat tea. He might be a murderer, but that doesn't make him the sort of monster that eats take-away leftovers the next morning.
