The contest of Pope Idol 2013 will be the “biggest ever” said music mogul Cowell.
Three of the four judges have been confirmed as Cowell, music executive, Tony Blair, professional God impersonator and X-Radio DJ and television personality Chris Moyles, the final spot is thought to be ear marked for someone without a God Complex to add balance to the outspoken judges panel.
The first round of auditions will be held in Rome, Berlin, Dudley and in a wild card, never before attempted, satellite link up Rio Brazil, acknowledging the popularity of the shows format in Latin America.
"We are looking for something different, something that will drive the viewers wild at the open auditions, and that the point anyone can attend”, the bland pop impresario exclaimed.
At the boot camp and judges' houses stage, mentoring and lots of rehearsal are key, for the contestants to do well. “we are looking for a fantastic, crowd pleasing performance before we get onto the live shows” Cowell explained.
Pope Idol Extra is to be hosted by self proclaimed Jesus Christ Superstar Russell Brand.
