American Express announced the introduction of the Vatican Gold Preferred Credit Card, which will allow followers to receive prayer points for all credit purchases. Specifically the card will:
Earn one prayer point for each dollar spent on any purchase
Earn two prayer points for each dollar spent on church donations
Religious favors such as forgiveness for breaking one of the ten commandments can be redeemed from just 10,000 prayer points. Additionally, American Express will offer a 30,000 point sign up bonus after your application is approved and you spend $750 within the first four months. 30,000 prayer points is enough to forgive you and your mistress from adultery!
Individuals with loose morals and those seeking to absolve themselves of crookery are encouraged to apply.
If you are not already a Christian, American Express will assign you an automatic affiliation with a local church. Muslims and Jews may also apply and redeem religious favors as part of the Vatican's "One-Faith" partner program.
