A Wolverhampton couple claim that a council car park in Leicester is the spot where they illegally parked their camper van five years ago.
'About a year ago, the car park was on the television news for some reason or other,' said Albert Bramwell (72) 'and I immediately recognized it as the place we illegally parked overnight in our camper van in 2008.'
Speculation about the Bramwell's claim has grown since they wrote a letter to the Camper Van Times which led to research by a team of caravan enthusiasts.
'Now we think we've definitely established that it's the same car park,' Mr Bramwell said, who is waiting for experts from the University of Leicester to confirm his belief.
'The toilets were some distance from our camper,' he says, 'and geneticists are analysing the DNA from the No 2 the Mrs did behind the camper in the middle of the night.'
