Oxbridge police revealed today that they are investigating the disappearances of a further three Midwinter men, who were reported missing by concerned family members over the weekend.
The latest reports bring the total number of men reported missing from Midwinter village to a staggering eighteen.
"We are pursuing a specific line of inquiry relating to these cases," announced DCI Tom Lawton. "It seems that there is a common thread at work here. All of the missing men informed loved ones prior their mysterious disappearances that they wouldn't be gone for long and that they were going to a business meeting three miles away. It may just be coincidence, but the three mile theme seems to be a common thread in all cases."
He went on to say that Oxbridge police were keen to speak with an individual named only as Rebecca, in order to eliminate her from their inquiries.
