A man, believed to be close to tasty nail technician, Pimmy 'Pimms' Anstruther, was up all night yesterday waiting for Prince Harry to leave a rave in Fulham.
Vic Lubbock, a freelance photographer from Kettering, joined a throng of pals on the pavement outside 37 Henrietta Mews W6, where they enjoyed endless bottles of Krug champagne, takeaway oysters from the exclusive Dorchester Hotel Shellfood Bar and a wide assortment of illegal drugs, whilst partying the night away until Harry, hot from his 4 month safari in Afghanistan, decided to emerge.
At last, shortly before 10.00 this morning, the dishevelled Prince staggered triumphantly out of the front door to face a barrage of flashbulbs and cheers from a thousand well wishers, including various commuters running late for work.
Before taking up with Pimmy Anstruther, Vic Lubbock was regularly seen on the pavement with gorgeous West Indian drama student Vicky 'Picky' Ambrose. “We thought they'd hit it off on a permanent basis,” said fellow Harrow High alumnae Vince Prebble. “But Vic's wife Libby had other ideas about that so Vicky went off to South Africa and got herself pregnant.”
Meanwhile Pimmy Anstruther, the daughter of London cab mogul Mick Anstruther, was spotted flat-hunting in fashionable Stoke Newington this weekend. Together with pedigree dog trainer Shelley 'Shell' Carstairs another of the 'in' girls on the London circuit. “We've found them something very convenient for Boujis and Mahiki”, explained husky-voiced Dalston estate agent Tessa Wilmot.
“Pimmy's got loads of fab ideas for doing up the flat”, purred Ms Wilmot. “The usual stuff we girls do – sorting the dustbin area, mending the front door, fixing the bolts on the fire escape. Then she's throwing a huge moving-in party and will obviously be inviting Prince Harry.”
