Outraged campaigners are furious that no-one has checked whether or not the horse meat found in TESCO's burgers is GM-free horse meat.
"This is outrageous" stated their spokesperson, Ms Ribble-Cowe. "We have no way of knowing whether we will all die or grow two heads or whatever it is that GM food has been proven to cause."
Her organisation has apparently not been impressed by assurances that all the horses in question had been free-range, vegetarian horses. "That's all very well, but was it fair trade horse meat? That's what we demand to know."
