A crane driver who admitted he was lucky to be alive after oversleeping on the morning his crane was hit by a helicopter has been sacked.
Managing director Eddie Cribbs from building firm Hardcastle and Cribbs said the crane driver should have been at his post high above the ground when the helicopter ploughed into it and not testing the tog unit value on his new duvet.
Managing director Eddie Cribbs said he was furious that only the two people had died in the accident when in all fairness it should have been three.
Cribbs also slammed the crane driver’s children for failing to wake him early enough for him to get to work on time, accusing them of being overindulged and cosseted.
‘Well he can spend as much time as he likes in bed now’ fumed Cribbs ‘let’s see how lucky he feels now’.

Wrong and excellent.
What's the phrase about laying in bed with the curtains drawn? Fucking skiver.

And it's a Full Five from me. What do you think? Does he lie in alternate mornings and get a mate to clock him in?

You shouldn't sack crane workers straight away. Just suspend them.
