If anyone didn't want me to go to the London do, I wish they would have told me

Plucky, there is no indication that you are the "he" mentioned. Give over.
Plucky, both jp and Qorbeq have said that they're not going. I've said that I'm not going, and I honestly don't care if everyone's glad I'll be absent.
Although, if that's the case, I'll be stabbing all my special little dolls in the image of everyone's Gravitars....
I do that too, Jeni. Whenever there's an FP that I wished I'd written out come the pins.
I'd love to go and meet some Biscuits in the flesh, but I can't. If there was a tag about me not going I'd be quite happy. The only thing worse than being talked about...etc
I do it whenever anyone writes anything funny. I think I was funny once, but it was so long ago, I'm probably mistaken.
And I agree, if I'm being talked about, it means I've gotten to someone.
Jeni, you certainly were funny once - I've just seen your old facebook pic with the monster fringe... :-) :-) :-) JOKING!!!
Pluckmaster - how come you're not coming now, anyway? Seems like you could get to one central London pub but not another? Is transport from Wales that fiddly these days? Just come anyway, it'll be fun, promise.
Oi! Westwell! Do not diss the do!
It was the early 80s, and it wasn't like I ever left the house like that...well, not too often.
If I remember correctly, my mum combed all the gel and hairspray out of it to make the point that it needed cutting.
And I think that the one time I was funny was in 1989. But since that was when I was a student, I can't be too sure...
I really was joking - I love it. Anyway, in my facebook profile pic I have bleached blond hair and a 6-foot banana sticking out of my trousers, so I'm the last one to criticise.
Confidently expecting a flood of facebook friend requests now...
Rickwestwell, that banana's made me feel inadequate.
Jeni B - did you ever use the sugar water method? Looked like a terminal case of dandruff when you scratched your head ...
Sorry, everyone. I withdraw my comment, unreservedly. I was feeling particularly under the weather last night. The Dog makes me unecessarily cranky, sometimes. Again, many apologies.
Two problems, really, Mr Westwell. Transport is good but very expensive (and comes and goes from Paddington). Ditto, finding a hotel in that area. I don't want to be drunk and having to find myself wandering across London back to the hotel.
Hope you're feeling a bit better, Plucky. Sorry I was grumpy: had been dealing with someone with extreme anxiety, paranoia and too many (conflicting) meds at work.
Rick, assumed you were gay from the pic, at first aquaintance, hon. Mwah.
My kids say I'm often funny. But since joining NB I'm not sure they mean that in a FP positive sort of way.
Thank you, Sauce. I will try to behave more rationally, in future. Sorry, again, for the offensive posting.
