Coalition release single 'Where are We Now?', sponsored by Rupert Murdoch

In a bold move, the Coalition have released a single and video track on iTunes, showing David Cameron and Nick Clegg singing "Where Are We Now?".

It will be followed by a new album, entitled 'The Never Never', in May 2015.

A surprise U-turn, the song and video is sponsored by recent adversary Rupert Murdoch and features the words 'As long as there's The Sun', depicting the two leaders' faces projected on a monkey puppet with the word 'SUN' illuminated on their chest.

The single follows the success Mr Clegg had last year with his YouTube smash-hit 'I'm Sorry'.

According to a statement from No 10, 'Throwing shadows over the Labour treadmill is very David and Nick. Expect tour dates soon.'

Bang on Pinxit.

Bowie reminisces about his time in Berlin in his song. Maybe they need to reminisce about something too - how about the good times they had before they sealed the deal in the Rose Garden?

You may have to sneak in 'greasy bum sex' somewhere too - Dawson's the expert on happy endings. The frightening thing is they look like his rabbit onesies.

Thank you gents, very much appreciated. I'm assuming you have all now seen the Bowie video.

But I think the timeline says it all. I turned this round in ten mins about 15 hours ago after hearing the 'good news' from the fragrant Evan Davis.

Him off of the wireless.

I felt that striking while the iron was hot - what with the Coalition splash yesterday - was paramount. As explained at the top, I knew it was rough - but there was a fairly decent topical sub somewhere in there.
