Such as

"Former Pub Landlord" (Hand transplant chap)

"Murdered black teenager" (Stephen Lawrence)

"Parents of the murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler" ( yep)

"National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence; NICE" [followed by no use of either name, rendering the use of both terms a waste of time]

And this past week - in references to the Indian victim. I wonder if the repeated attachment of the word 'gang' to 'rape' isn't a tad salacious. As perhaps, the inclusion of the story on the news throughout the UK media. Truly truly dreadful event but maybe the coverage in UK is a little disproportionate.

@Dick: "Bacon, egg and sausage addict" (dvo4fun) I also had the fried bread under the egg, tinned tomatoes, 2 slices (toasted) and a mug of Tea. But just an hour later I was feeling a little peckish again.

'Community leaders' are for groups of people we either don't understand or don't like (or both), who we assume will all behave (and vote) the same. So Muslims have them. The 'gay community' has 'spokesmen'.
