X Factor Winner James Arthur revealed how he has mapped out his future career.
The pop star who used to have a proper job that I can't be bothered to look up said "I don't want to drift aimlessly like other winners like Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson. And then I read the clause in my contract that read '...will be dropped like a hot brick and replaced by the next X Factor winner' I knew I had to draw up a plan. So there's an album, the X Factor tour, then the follow up album that sells a few copies. After that I'll do a third, self-financed album that I'll be selling from a suitcase outside Oxford Circus tube station. Then after a few months of being asked "Didn't you used to be... ?", I'll move on to do the rounds of the celebrity reality shows - I've already had a word with the producers of Dancing on Ice and hey see no problem with it - then depending how that goes it'll be panto or a West End musical."
He also revealed the secret of how he turned dire dirge Impossible into a number 1 hit. "I had to find something that the man or woman in the street could empathise with. So to illustrate simply by the sound of my voice something that seems impossible but is actually possible I sang the chorus as if I was trying to budge a particularly testy turd after a long bout of constipation."
