Nice. Some idiots will ring 999 for anything, “My house is on fire”, “my leg is pointing the wrong way and blood is squirting out all over the carpet”, “a man with a gun is trying to kick my front door down”. And while they’re wasting everybody’s time there are cats stuck up trees for hours on end.

It makes me seethe, vertically Challenged Giant. Small wonder the police are so grumpy when you phone them. It interrupts filming on their 'cops with cameras' shows for cable TV shows
