Since the allegations against the unfunny twat were made by two women who were in their mid-twenties at he time the alleged offences took place, is it wise or fair to run this as a ticker?

Yep. If they were in their twenties he would still have been a fair bit older so still works. No suggestion of kids here

I'm sure Jim will see the funny side...

@Idiot, I did think about that, and regardless of what I think about JD, I came out where Perks did, so I posted. I would say that a difference of about 20 years warrants the 'joke'. I didn't expect a ticker though, but I think the one line standard is so low at the moment it crept in.

It was twenty-five years ago so he would have been in his mid-thirties. I'm not defending him or suggesting the joke isn't a good one (it is) - I just think that sometimes, depending on the context, one needs to be careful what one writes about someone, even in jest.

I think it's OK to say what you like about people, if they have very small eyes.

I never even made the link between JD and kiddie fiddling. It doesn't suggest that in the title. It's a link you made you sick sick biscuit.
Go and say three Hail Mary's, 2 how's ya fathers, and play with Rosemary's bead!
