bad flavour for me on that one.
To me it just doesn't seem right really, but I'm not entirely sure why...perhaps it ought to be beneath him to take a corporate shilling, perhaps it doesn't seem very respectful; but perhaps it's actually my misconception and prejudice at the route of my discomfort and there's nowt wrong with it at all.

It's a bit distasteful as he already has a job: he's basically stealing money from a hard-up actor who could have played him in the ad. John Hurt, Michael Caine, Joan Collins...the list could go on, but doesn't.

He drives like a fucking loon that Prof Hawking. Don't know if it is to stop tourists getting in his face and kissing the hem of his garment or if he's simply a very busy man but he does not stop that chair for anything. A common sight around the centre of Cambridge is one very speedy professor bombing about the place and his p.a/nurse/whomever breathlessly trotting along beside him.
In my day it was a source of undergraduate pride to have been nearly felled by him.
