"The contrast is what we're all about." said Brant the equally beautiful of the two.
"Yes, we actually photo test our friends and avoid extremes. Too pretty, wouldn't do at all. Ugly is kind of kicky, crippled we considered too, but in the end we went with the 'wouldn't stand out against a grove of trees or fence' aesthetic. Moderation in all things don't you think? Well, except as applies to us."
The self-labeled "plain" friends seems very happy with the arrangements. "We weren't really picked so much as when they were turning out the lights, after the try outs, we were standing there. They hadn't noticed us. So when we spoke up, and waved, they just said, right away - 'Perfect.' We were actually there by mistake. I was brining my shoe trees for repair and went in the wrong door! Heck, Susan Boyle was discovered, why not us?"
"Please don't say that we despise or pity our plain friends. We take them for tacos and everything. Often we take the clubing and they can hold our coats. One is great at getting us cabs. In fact, all our very pretty and rich friends are copying us now. Plain looking people are starting to be in demand!"
