Not sure about the empire Gerontius. But France? Definitely worth an invasion. After all, those little patisseries are to die for...especially if it's someone else doing the dying.

The imaginary "estate worker" and "another royal insider" sounded really disappointed in the made-up quotes there.
Always amazes me how journalists manage to find these sources who give such convenient and thoroughly believable comments to add weight to a story.

Some decades ago I shared a house with a US military 'photo-journalist', who did still have a finger-hold on journo ethics as illustrated thus. He would write out his prferred quote and then pass it to the Admiral: "Sir, would you mind reading this paragraph for me?".
Later, the copy began "Admiral Jones spoke to this reporter - about the absolutely essential US Navy aircraft carrier attack on a third world country - and said ..."
Or something like that
