will someone please fix the PM system?

It has been down for over a week.

...unless it is just my account that has been blackballed - Other writers complain of being unable to PM me, and I have tried to say thanks to LDC for the hat-tip on that left alert, unsucessfully, so here I am, waving it around in public.
I suspect it isn't just me, but just in case :-)

Have you tried deleting some of your old messages. The storage for messages is minimal.

ah.. I didn't have that many messages (not that popular/been around very long).

Didn't know you could ...hang on while I try.

Have now hit 'unsubscribe' on all bar two of the messages, so hopefully I have given my box a 'dust and clean'
