The army today have warned of an impending crisis with new recruits. They are concerned with the apparent influx of what they are calling Modern Warfare recruits who believe they will come back to life after being shot, can heal themselves by hiding behind things and pick up ammo from random points.
The concern has been growing over the past number of years as recruits have turned up and believed they need one run through a training scenario to "learn the controls" and they will then be let out into the world to fight generic soldiers. Many ask where the continue points are and whether there will be a boss battle at some point. Reports are now stating this is getting worse with each new round of recruits, as they are now expecting more advanced weaponry and complain that the "graphics aren't that good" when they arrive.
Recruits have also started asking which class they are and stating they do not want to be the medical class as that is boring. There are also problems with recruits talking back to commanding officers that they believe they are higher ranked than and quoting their kill streak bonuses as justification.
The army are now in crisis talks with the games producers asking for warning labels to be placed on the games stating that the contents should not be used in real life, they are concerned if this problem continues unchecked they will soon have recruits who will not be able to jump over small walls, or open doors without coloured keys.
This follows on from reports from Driving Instructors who are warning that young drivers believe you actually drive the car in front and expect to find two joysticks to control the vehicle.
