Western astronomers may have reported North Korea's satellite as 'tumbling' and hence 'out of control' but today Pyongyang has insisted their satellite is working well and is simply misunderstood.
When asked about the washing machine-sized satellite, a spokesperson for the regime said "Yes, of course it is washing machine sized. It is a washing machine. Well, to be technically accurate, a washer-dryer".
"It's really not hard to grasp - it IS tumbling; which is what it is designed to do." he added. "North Korea insists on being involved in the international space exploration effort, so we have launched a clothes washing facility for the International Space Station which will shortly dock with it."
After closer inspection of the claims NASA officials had to concede: "Remarkably, the machine's door and its seal exactly match those of the ISS".
When pressed about whether the ISS needed such as facility the North Korean official replied "Of course. After a few months in orbit with no new clothes, it is going to Pyong a bit in there by now. Persily I think the whole thing Daz been misunderstood. Yes it has an Ariel, but even that is non-bio. We are totally against launching anything biological on rockets"
