Sky Sports have announced that they will be broadcasting the much-anticipated fight between the ‘Big Girl’s Blouse’ and the ‘Baddest Man in British Comedy’ live from London’s O2 Arena on Boxing Day.
O’Farrell took a break from his punishing training schedule this morning to speak to reporters. ‘I’ve been up since 5 am, exchanging quick-fly jabs with my trainer, Uncle Bertie,’ he told a journalist from the Zimbabwe Standard; ‘it’s all about strategy – I may not have the physique of a boxer, but if I can induce a giggling fit in the Big Girl, maybe she’ll drop her guard for a moment.’
Tyson however refuses to be intimidated by the pre-match talk. ‘He can throw as many quick-fire lines at me as he wants,’ he said, ‘but he’s forgetting I’m an incredibly big bloke with absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever,’ adding ‘I hope you’re listening O’Farrell, while you’ve still got ears.’
But O’Farrell is not daunted by such talk, remaining confident he can ‘floor anyone with the right punch-line.’
Sky Sports say that after a big dinner the day before with plenty of sprouts and the Queen, the match ‘should at least provide some lighthearted comic relief.’
