Many congratulations to Ludicity who wins his 171st Writer of the Month award after his excellent story, 'Jeremy Hunt to open world's first placebo hospital', was NewsBiscuit's most-read in November. Ludicity's story, which did nothing to alleviate readers' symptoms of amusement when first published in October, continued the recent tradition of only producing noticeable side effects a month or so after being administered. His prize is another repeat prescription for a NewsBiscuit mug, and vouchers towards a bigger dishwasher.
Honourable mentions also go to Oxbridge ('US election mainly about bum sex'), pinxit ('Manchester United reveal details of monumental Ferguson statue'), Skylarking ('Saville enquiry police arrest 'Blockbuster' in glam-heavy dawn raid') and Textbook ('U2 talk down 'mediocre' new album').
