Yellowists throughout the world are in mourning today, after their leader was sentenced to two years in prison for misunderstanding Wittgenstein and ruining someone else's stuff.
Vladimir Ubanets, who started the Yellowist movement with friend Marcin Lodiga in 2009, has said that violet walls of an yellowism chamber are the only neutral backgrounds for pieces of yellowism, which critics have argued didn't help.
'I'm absolutely beside myself', said Dave Sturridge, yellowist from Cornwall, 'I don't understand how this could even happen, because all interpretations possible in the context of art, are reduced to one, equalized, flattened to yellow. The 2 year sentence is simply illogical.'
Purplists, however, are delighted. 'Well if flattened yellow looks like a cake.', said Norman Shire, a Purplist from Bristol. 'then I'm a shepherd of hurt.'
No other made up non-movements were available to comment.
