Following the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her first child the major broadcasters have begun a bidding war for live coverage of the delivery of the future monarch.
Sky, ITV and the BBC are said to be offering large sums for rights of access to the area between the Duchess' thighs at the moment when the future monarch begins crowning. A palace spokesman has confirmed that the rights will include online streaming from the moment the waters break.
