In a press conference announcing his retirement from cricket, former Australian captain has expressed his sadness at missing next year's Ashes contest. "Losing the Ashes has been part of my life for nearly a decade, I'm really going to miss it. When I watch the new captain admitting that they'd been outplayed, I'll be thinking 'that used to be me.'"
