Maybe it's because it's Monday and instead of working I've been sat on my arse eating a fabulous sandwich and watching a stand up DVD but I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a set this good.
Highly recommend and Amazon are doing it for only three quid.
Anyone else watched any corkers recently? According to the DVD charts you must all be watching Mrs Brown's Boys, I hope that's not true.

I haven't watched anything new in the way of stand-up lately, but I did catch Eddie Murphy's 'Raw' last night.
The first time I saw it in the late 80s, when I was but a teenage Jeni, it seemed brilliant, energetic and fresh.
But last night, all I could think of was what a pile of misogynistic, angry, racist (yes, racist) shite.
Eddy should stick to dressing up in fat-suits and telling "Yo Mama" jokes.

Raw is appalling. Too young to have seen it when it came out but when I did I couldn't believe how kak it was. I think Eddie will stick to fat-suits and 'Yo Mama' jokes, there doesn't seem to be any way to stop him.
Stewart Lee's latest is very good too if you like him. I know that some people are allergic.
