The controversial votes keep coming as today not just hamsters but all nocturnal rodents were barred from becoming bishops. There was much squeaking and rattling of wheels as the results came through. 42 diocese had said prior to the vote that they strongly supported the idea of hamsters being allowed to be ordained as bishops.
This afternoon the assembly will vote on the ordination of table lamps.
