Fashion designer Jimmy Choo is set to launch a range of sensible women’s shoes for the 2013 winter season.
In response to a spate of broken ankles and bruised egos suffered by glamour models last winter he has created a range that will in his own words “...enable Essex Gels to get off their backs and wark uplight.”
His latest ‘North Choobury’ and ‘Chooburyness’ collections will feature all of the glitz and glamour of shoes such as the Viper and the Malika but will also have stylish Velcro fastenings, sheepskin linings and inbuilt airbags.
The exclusive UK launch will take place at the Lakeside Shopping Centre with a specially invited number of top VIPs including the Mayor of Thurrock and Joe Pasquale. It will then be followed by an exclusive reception at Ed’s Easy Diner where head chef, Lee Sparkwell said, “We’ll be preparing an assortment of Essex favourites including Crispy Chicken Wings in Bulimic Vinegar and Cod Lip Fish Cakes.”
Chigwell based glamour model, Chantel Doberman, 38, was very excited at the prospect of owning her fifty ninth pair of Jimmys, “I was at a red carpet event at the Century Cinema in Pitsea Broadway last December when I went arse-over-siliconed-tit leaving half of my vajazzel in the shag pile. It was splashed all over the Echo the next day as well.”
A spokesman from Basildon Hospital’s A&E said, “This is a welcome move by Mr Choo as our special glamour model department does get stuffed to the gills in winter months, especially at Christmas and the New Year. The A&E team will now have more time to concentrate on other emergencies such as frostbitten minge, hair disasters and serious nail incidents.”
