Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has stepped into the controversy over Tory MP Nadine Dorries' decision to appear on the television reality show I'm a Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here!
'I don't know what all the fuss is all about,' Sutcliffe says on a tape smuggled out of Broadmoor Hospital. 'As one celebrity to another, if Nadine wants to experience living in a jungle, why shouldn't she? Someone should fix-it for her.'
It's understood that Sutcliffe's offer to appear on the show was rejected by ITV on the grounds of his limited availability.
'Also,' said an ITV spokesperson, 'he would have scared the shit out of some nasty jungle predators.'
