Fancy a flutter?
I know nuffink about US politics and was struggling to name most of the states. My prediction however turned out to be identical to that of my old mucker Mark "off of the telly" Mardell.

I think Obama will win, but I went through the list and came up with 263 Obama vs 275 Romney

I was hopeless on the US States test....only about 50% accuracy.
Still, better than most Americans.
Romney will win
And maybe that's just what the good ol' USA needs to rid itself of its malaise.
More of the same will get it nowhere.
Romney may be a nutjob but I'll bet he gets things done.
Anyway....who needs healthcare when you've got God on your side?

If I were to place a bet either side it would doubtless be a dead heat. So I won't. I have often thought that it doesn't matter who is in power as long as they have sufficient time to carry through policies. (See the corn laws/repeal of corn laws)
I once worked for an evil empire and in the space of 18 months, survived 14 different ops directors. Each one, driven by greed, was deturmined to "make a difference" and change the previous policy. Lunacy of course. For that reason alone I hope Obama wins.
