   Doctors are to be 'revalidated' annually. This means they'll be assessed on knowledge of latest techniques, drugs etc and those who fail to pass muster will be out. So, goodbye to all the old GP's with decades of experience and knowledge, and hello to all the sharp young things with no bedside manner and one eye on an American job.
