These are not from pub quizzes, but local radio quizzes. The questions aren't the funniest/best part, but the answers. All true, and heard by several members of my family.
3. Which actor's real name was Marion Morrison? A. Oh, I don't know. Can you give me a clue? (Presenter adopts crap John Wayne accent and says, "The hell I will!' Oh go on, just a wee clue!
2. In which year was the 1998 World Cup held? A. 2000
1. In which european city would you find Gorky Park? A. Edinburgh. (Presenter asks if they are sure) Yep, definitely Edinburgh, there's Gorgy Road, so I'm sure that's the answer.
I truly despair of people.

I'm intrigued by pub questions that can only ever have one answer... The “comet” is always Halley’s. The “literary prize” is always the Booker. The “art prize” is always the Turner. The “medieval writer” is always Chaucer. The “famous diarist” is always Samuel Pepys. The “medical journal” is always The Lancet. And the “garden designer” is always ‘Capability’ Brown...

There are many muscles of the forelimb.
There are, however, only two that the anatomy department had completely dissected out and preserved in a formalin pot that could come out in practical exams.
Unfortunately, hardly anything ever goes wrong with those muscles...shame really, as generations of vets are expert on their anatomy, whilst being 'just a little vague' on the whole rest of the limb

I recently entered a pub quiz where we decided to write all our answers down before they had asked the first question. We then giggled like school girls througout proceedings, and the table next to us who had to mark our work thought wew were a bunch of twats. They were of course right (not our answers, the table next to us).
My favourite quiz question is - What's the capital of Canada?
