Several prominent BBC TV and Radio presenters have spoken of witnessing crack and heroin dealing in the 1970’s and 80’s by Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Although she died in 1997, and now cannot refute the allegations, the famed catholic nun, who is described as a strangely solitary figure, is accused of funding a luxury lifestyle through the selling of class A drugs to radio 1 DJ’s.
One victim has spoken of the fear of speaking out about someone with such a high profile for good deeds: “It was an impossible situation... if I so much as mentioned to ‘The Big T’ that I might write in to Simon Mayo’s My Confession, my supply of scag would be heavily cut with communion wafer”
Mother Teresa’s legacy as a potential future saint is however though to remain intact as her secret diaries are in the safe possession of the Pope’s personal butler.
