Following the accusations of cheating against Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France, a Cameraman for the event has now been stripped of his fringe 'media race' medals for using a Motorbike. The event which takes place along side every cycling road race, sees members of the media racing to get to the finish line before their rivals.
'Most of us have to sit in the rain at a lay-by to get our shots of the race, before running to the finish line in a bid to claim the much sort after 'Hi-Vis jersey' one reporter told himself. 'But it turns out the 7 times winner, Spain's Carlos Mantreng, has been using a BMW motorbike to get to the end. He even had the cheek to employ a driver'
Often seen in front of the the cyclists, Mr Mantreng of Team SkySports has been now stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles, but some believe that should have been done many years ago. 'There have been rumours around for years that he was using banned substances' a fellow team mate told us. 'But I was surprised to find out that substance was petrol.'
