The ECB has today revealed that troublesome ex-South African cricketer Kevin Pietersen has been returned to the wild and has rejoined his pack. He is expected to make a full recovery and will probably begin remarking his territory over the next few days.
An ECB spokesperson explained, " Kevin inadvertently got his foot caught in his mouth earlier this year and his phone was stuck in an inappropriate place, so it was necessary to isolate him and nurse him back to full health. The remainder of the pack cannot function with a weak link and have performed poorly all summer as a result. We tranquilised him to remove him initially and have been keeping him in a small enclosure in Surrey"
The timing of his rehabilitation couldn't have come at a better time as the pack is due to migrate to India for the winter next month.
