The BBC continues to reject that there was any cover-up of allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour by Sir Jimmy Savile, and say this has been independently verified by a panel of three wise monkeys.
“I saw no evidence of any evil goings on or cover-up” said head monkey, Mizaru.
“I never heard an evil word said against Jimmy” said Kikazaru.
The third monkey, Iwazaru, refused to comment about any evilness, which could have been for legal reasons, or, more likely, because he was busy licking his balls.
However, doubts remain about the quality of the BBC investigation, with some suggesting it was self-serving to use animals that become sexually mature at the age of 7. These doubts are likely to increase after Mizaru was overheard at a nearby pub saying “14??? That’s old enough to be my mother!”
