Firefighters were called out to rescue a man whose head was stuck in a public litter bin in Justice Street, Aberdeen. Emergency services were alerted on Sunday evening by a passer by who noticed a man stuck with his head in the opening of the 4ft-high bin.
A spokesman for Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said the man was not injured, but four onlookers had to be treated for the effects of excessive laughter, including facial muscle cramps and rib pains.
