BP's last desperate hope to plug the oil leak in the gulf by filling it full of concrete has been put back ' to a week thursday love ' said Mr Trevor Smith of builders Smith & son of Basildon.
BP forced to work to a tight budget found Smith's quote of ten grand plus boat hire and petrol for the cement mixer well within the one billion they were given but as Mr Smith says ' for the money their paying they've got to expect a few hold ups'. Mr Smith further added ' i've still got two extensions to finish in Margate and a patio to lay in Bognor. So as you can see i've got me hands full and BP are just going have to bare with me '.
