A severe 'weather warning' warning across the South West tonight has been issued by the Met Office.
The new alert is in addition to the torrential downpours of forecasts with strong words already battering the region, causing widespread havoc today. It is expected to bring two to three column inches of news, and possible flooding of information across all media overnight.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "The public should be prepared for an increased risk scaremongering and alarmism during this period."
The Environment Agency also says there is an increased risk news releases and pontification this evening and in the early hours of Monday.
