The London 2012 Legacy commitee have today announced the sale of the Olympic stadium to the singer Bruce Springsteen, who has bought the site for the sole use of his daughter Jessica.
‘She has been collecting expensive but useless projects for a few years now, and the acquisition of a £500 million redundant 80,000 capacity arena is the centrepiece of her collection’ said Springsteen’s agent.
Springsteen was said to be excited by the prospect of a ground share system with West Ham, which would provide two white elephants for the price of one, with a loan deal on the use of a £35m donkey until May 2013.
Negotiations are ongoing for the future acquisition of ‘Free Schools’ buildings following the next general election.
