   Heard David Laws on R4's Today this morning. As he was being introduced I could almost hear John Humphrys saying 'The disgraced Liberal MP, former Chief Secretary to the Treasury ...

   DL was asked if he associated himself with the apology. Talked a lot about 'Nick's' & 'Vince's' role in making the pre election pledge but didn't detect any personal apology. I thought they'd all signed the pledge but I must have been mistaken.

   Still most people deserve a second chance.
