Announcing what he described as a "Radical reform" and a "peice of out of the box thinking", Ian Duncan Smith the Work and Pensions secretary , has let the media in on the flagship policy of this coalitions attitude to teen unemployment. "Every teen will be employed in the newly nationalised MacDonalds" he said "Wewant the generation leaving school now to have a feeling of worth, not to feel they are on he scrapheap like labour left them. We wont have youths hanging around on corners spending thier Giros on cider, they will have to work for thier benefits,we hope this will create a generation of high self esteemed individuals, who understande the work ethic we all grew up with." when asked if this would lead to any formal qualification, mr Duncan-Smith admitted that there was no consesus on that part of this particular "New Deal"yet. Meanwhile the goernment is preparing for a storm of protest at the announcement that Vince Cable is running for the leadership of the Labour Party.
Stop Press- MacDonalds to be nationalised.
