I assume this has been discussed here before, but I refuse to Google when I could just as easily rehash something.
But - I can't seem to access Ye Olde Newbiscuit... I guess it is reasonable that you might pull the plug on the mothball ridden old server... but as I get older, I get worse, and I like looking back over things I did when I was less rubbish.
Boobs.

One day it was here - the next it was gone.
Not so much as an eviction order.
Simply pulled down to make way for the new humour by-pass.
Most of the oldies have been moved on to make way for this awesome 'Mock the Cat' crowd that seem to have settled here.
Welcome to Brokenbiscuit...the new home for mong and rape jokes.

Just joshing - Newsbiscuit is still the best by a long shot.
Wannabe satirists of all abilities and levels have been given this (free) golden opportunity to create something special - you won't get another opportunity like this, so make the most of it.
JOFs don't grow on trees.
I certainly miss the old crowd, but they've moved on now.
The baton has been passed on to a new generation of satirists - let's see where they can take it.
As for the old place - I think we probably overstepped the mark a bit too often and eventually paid the price.
But it was fun while it lasted.
Most of what we post here on NB will be fair to middling and often rubbish - but every now and again a real gem pops up.
That's what makes it worthwhile.
No censorship, no editing, no critics, no selection committee, no discarding, no kidding.
Just put it out there and see where it goes.
But if you can't take the odd kicking and a bit of bitching every now and again then you shouldn't really be trying your hand at satire.

The old chatroom? Gerry is right, luck was pushed, but it was fun, like being The Clash in a squat. We'll never see the like again, nobody could be bothered enough to set it up.
And Ironduke, I know 2 people who have kids with Downs, so can we cut the 'Mong' gags please? It wasn't even funny when Ricky Gervais did it. Ta.
