Contrary to popular belief, living in La La Land isn't as utopian as it's cracked up to be, according to Oxford University's Professor of Anthropology Tom More.
Earlier this month, Communities Secretary Eric Pickles accused local authorities of living in 'economic la la land' when it came to housebuilding.
But Professor More said his research suggested life in La La Land could be 'as tough as anywhere'.
'Of course,' he said, 'living anywhere outside Mr Cameron's Britain, is bound to be an improvement, but life isn't all a bed of roses in La La Land.'
'If Mr Pickles thinks it is,' Professor More added, 'the man must be living in cloud cuckoo land.'
