Just been googling 'lyme disease'. On a forum, one person wrote:

"with modern medical advances, I would hope no child will ever have to go through the pain of losing a parent."

Right. Because the alternative is so much better.

Can anyone better this for an incredibly stupid comment? Without googling G W Bush or David Beckham?

I reckon that my Mum will resort to murder if there's a medical advance to prevent her losing her remaining parent.

Depends on definition used of child.

If it is 'person under the age of eighteen' then admirable sentiment.

If it is 'an offspring' then moronic.

re: Lymes Disease...tick borne fever, ricketssial, affected areas in the West country particularly, treatable but may get relapses or periodic joint pain, responsive to meds. Dogs and people.

Though I;ve never seen it cause a puppy to lose its bitch.
