And you are completely made up, like Mitt Romney.

Who's Mitt Romney? Sounds like some kind of glove puppet to me.
Shuttlecock.

Al, I sent money to Romney and am volunteering for him. Can't get enough of him.

I may change my nom to battledore so that we can have some interesting back-and-forths.

Is that a relative of Dumbledore?

And I see that you can also invest in a series of model helicopters, which builds week by week into a collection of model helicopters.

I'm up for 'whaff' if someone wants to call 'whiff'
Posted 9 months ago # -
ID, have no idea what that means. Mais, je suis Americain. Did you know that I am getting a puppy? (It's been in all the papers.)

Whiff whaff is to table-tennis as battledore is to badminton.
Good news on the pup, my american colleagues were fast having to contemplate downsizing the condo and vacationing intra-state.

Don't forget who's boss - having never had one before Tilly (three quarters Springer Spaniel/quater black labrador) it took some getting used to.

Lot's of fun to be had with Clint's speech - "Go ahead, Punk, make my...er...um..tea?

Great news, Rikkor

Although I'm a cat person, look forward to seeing some pix Rik.

Clint actually did some good jokes at the RNC, but unfortunately like his recent films, they were too slow-paced.

The one with the huge teeth is always boss, you just have to ensure he loves and trusts you enough never to pull rank.

I tried masturbating in to a muck spreader as a hobby but I kept getting caught, http://newsbiscuit.com/forum/topic.php?id=47069#post-135231 I then moved on to silage clamps but I was grassed up.

Battledore is American for shuttlecock. In America, it is illegal to refer to genitalia, hence the euphemism.

Em, not exactly. In my house, we call it jeu de volant, though.
"This game is played by two people, with small rackets, called battledores, made of parchment or rows of gut stretched across wooden frames, and shuttlecocks, made of a base of some light material, like cork, with trimmed feathers fixed round the top."

I'm very tempted by the Classic Pocket Watch Collection magazine that's now out. You can build up a magnificent selection of 'beautiful' replica pocket watches for just £8.99 per edition, along with a delightful magazine about pocket watches. I just don't have enough pockets to display them all.

I made the fatal error of installing 'Angry Birds' onto my son's iPod. Because we're all synched to the same iTunes account, it appeared on my phone too.
Every spare waking moment is now taken up with trying to gain all three gold stars in each level.
I don't know if something exciting will happen if I do, I just feel a compulsion to do it...Posted 9 months ago # -

You can grow your own kids in a bag?
Christ, wish they'd had them a few years back, would've saved me a lot of hassle.

@kim; this 11 pocket vest is what you'll be needing to display your classic pocket watch collection while covering multiple time zones

Beautiful, just beautiful. I could look like a magnificent glittering farmer.

Hobbies out of hand:
I stopped counting the cost of a 'vintage racing' motorcycle restoration at some point.
By that time I'd already counted in the cost of trailer, tow bar, workshop [i.e shed]- and associated garden re-modelling - various spares sufficent to make a second bike, leathers, crash helmet, gloves, boots, competition licence - and associated medical check - assorted special tools. Blah blah blah ... Well, as I said, I stopped counting.
Gave it away to a friend some years later.

Who'd have thought Dvo would have a hobby involving leather, gloves and assorted special tools?

Ironduke, aren't they exactly the same items you need to be a vet?
