   'Boring, not cuddly.'
   'Can I have some crisps?'

   Which I think says it all.

   The mascots are nothing in comparison to the incredibly bad animations that go with it. I liked China's ones, they were great. Do you think they'd notice if we 'borrowed' them?

   Not as good as the Russians, the Americans or the Chinese but marginally better than the Canadians.

   Wanted by the people supporting them to do well, but really unlikely to stir anyone to great excitement.

   And as such, a brilliant summary of Britain's athletes.

    If they wanted to 'engage the kids' why not just go with a couple of bored looking Special Brew cans?

    I think it is nice that they have a special one for the paralympics, just to emphasis that they really are different to everyone else!
