I truly despair of some people.

Just saw on the FB ticker that my step-sister's friend had posted:"What lion?" in reply to my sister's comment that it's more likely to be a Golden Retriever with hair extensions, gel nails and a spray tan.

Just passed the site of the siting, having dropped Mum and Dad off - loads of Media Vans, no sign of a lion.

Good way of saving on those carehome fees though.

The joke for me is that I wrote this in bed on Sunday morning after hearing the news report, half as million quid later and christ knows how much PC plod overtime to be paid, I then saw the reported origonal image, its just a bloody moggy !!!

I've got a Main Coon, massive great bastard that it is, and the Essex Lion was obviously the same breed. Cracking, er, pussies they are. Act more like dogs than cats, super friendly.
